red/peach burnout silk velvet scarf

Hand dyed burn out velvet scarf . Also called Devore these are made by a process that dissolves the plant fiber (rayon) in a pattern and exposes the protein ( silk) fiber behind.  These have silk fringe.  9"X 54"

The Rayon pile and the silk Chiffon backing fabric can dye in different shades - very neat!
